Child Abuse Prevention Month Blue Ribbon Event
This will be a bilingual presentation in Spanish and English with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time for our community to come together to focus more closely on building caring connections, supportive environments, and positive experiences for all children. Join us in our efforts to ensure that every child in our community is safe and loved.
In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, we invite you to Rediscovering The Beauty Within -- an autobiographical story about Sasha Joseph Neulingerʼs journey surviving multigenerational child sexual abuse.
In his presentation, Sasha utilizes photos, childhood drawings, home video and archival news footage as immersive aids to invite the audience on his journey from child victim to adult survivor. Covering the abuse, family dynamics, childhood therapy, the prosecution process, and how he got to where he currently is today, Rediscovering The Beauty Within is as educational as it is inspirational.
We hope you can join us for this important Blue Ribbon Event and participate in our dedicated effort to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month.
