Classes

Parenting is the hardest job you will ever have -- CPI is here to help.

At the heart of our mission at CPI is our commitment to protecting the children and families in our community. Because of this, we are currently conducting all of our parenting classes online until we can safely reopen the doors of our Family Resource Center.

CPI offers classes to parents of children ages 0-18. Each class is led by a trained parent educator who provides tools that parents can adapt to their own family's needs. All CPI classes have a strong child development foundation, supporting the belief that each child and parent brings unique needs and temperament to family life. Again, all classes are currently being conducted online.

Some important things to remember:

- CPI Online Classes will be hosted via Zoom. If you have any questions about joining a Zoom meeting, Zoom has created a helpful video about how to join a meeting through an email invite. Click here to watch!

The email you provide when registering for a class will receive the email invite with your unique Meeting ID and Password.

June 2020

1 session | Wednesday | June 10 | 9:00-9:30am
FREE Online Class

CPI invites parents and their children to join us for Family Healing Circle, a family meditation utilizing techniques from the Center for Mind-Body Medicine.

This online group explores expressive meditation: shaking and dancing. This meditation can be very useful for releasing any "stuckness" that we feel.

Many of the problems we have are related to being stuck. We get stuck in the way we think. We obsess about problems. Whatever the cause.....we're stuck. Shaking begins to open the joints, to relax the muscles, and to break up those fixed postural patterns. Shaking also works to break up fixed ideas that we carry in our minds such as "I'm not good enough."

Registration Deadline: Class registration will close 24 hours before the beginning of the course. If you have any questions about joining the class after registration has closed, please contact Trinell Meyer, contact information below.
