Ginger comes to the position as Monterey County’s Child Abuse and Prevention Council Director with over two decades of child welfare experience at the federal, state and local level most recently as Monterey County’s Senior Analyst in Child Welfare. Ginger’s areas of expertise include child welfare policy, program development, primary prevention, permanency planning and transition age youth services.  Ginger has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and an MSW from Loyola – Chicago. She is active in local professional and volunteer organizations such as WELI (Women’s Educational Leadership Institute) and NCL (National Charity League).
