Separation Anxiety for Children
Spending time away from your young child can be hard to separate for both of you. Saying goodbye can create feelings of worry and confusion in your child. Separation anxiety is most common for children under 4 years old. This class will explore how to practice for those detachment moments. Children who experienced trauma and/or are transitioning from a divorce also need time to adjust. The 2nd session will explore separation anxiety for older children who are adjusting to a divorce or maybe adapting back into the home or new parent. Step-parents or other high-risk life events can trigger this anxiety when big changes occur.
