Mindfulness for Families

This class teaches parents and children how to use mindfulness to ease stress and manage difficult emotions. The practices taught during these sessions have been proven to decrease anxiety in students, helping them to be calmer and more focused and to report experiencing less stress regarding homework and tests. Students have also reported becoming less emotionally reactive and more compassionate with themselves as well as others.
