Depression and Anxiety During and After Pregnancy
Becoming a new parent is hard - you have support at the Child Parent Institute. Whether struggling with depression, anxiety, or many other stressors, our Perinatal Mood Disorder (PMD) Program is designed to support you through the issues that arise during and after pregnancy, as well as the early years of your child's life.
Services are provided by mental health therapists and peer support staff in the format of 12 weekly in-home sessions. PMD aims to provide services to promote new ways of managing stress and to support the infant-parent bond. Our goal is for parents to improve how they manage their moods and feel confident and resilient as a parent.
Services are provided in both English and Spanish. Referrals are encouraged by using the CPI In-Home Mental Health Services form. You may download this form by clicking on the link below. For questions contact Delfina Soto at (707) 585-6108 x1218 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
