 '. Times of trauma bring new levels of stress and complication\, but also 
 opportunities to connect and respond more effectively to the ongoing traum
 a and adversity faced by the families and communities we serve. Applying p
 rinciples outlined by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration
  and learning activities developed by Strategies 2.0\, participants will i
 dentify opportunities to respond more effectively to trauma in their commu
 nities\, their organizations\, and themselves.\n\nMichael Williams is Stra
 tegies 2.0 Director for Northern California. He has worked in human servic
 es management and organizational development for more than 20 years in the
  disability services\, childcare\, and child welfare fields. His MSW degre
 e from San Francisco State University focused on policy and community deve
 lopment. Michael's work is informed and inspired by his personal experienc
 e as a parent in foster\, adoption\, and blended family contexts.\n\n<h5><
 b>CEU's Available</b></h5>\nContinuing Education Units (CEUs) available th
 rough the Center for Innovation and Resources (CIR). CIR is approved by th
 e California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor cont
 inuing education for LMFTs and LCSWs. Course meets qualifications for 2 ho
 urs of continuing education credit for LMFTs and LCSWs as required by the 
 California Board of Behavioral Sciences (provider #128510). CEU fee is $20
 \, payable at the training online or via check to CIR.\n\nIndividuals with
