Through referrals from Family, Youth and Children, Resource Specialists at CPI provide two service types: Resource Assistance (RA) and Intensive Case Management (ICM). RA provide short-term one on one assistance to parents linking them to resources such as food, housing, child care, employment, public assistance, etc. ICM provides long term supports that engage families in developing, linking, and building connections, resources and circle of supports towards family well being and safety.
CPI’s Resource Specialists use a strength based approach while working in conjunction with families to provide goal-oriented and individualized supports focusing on improved self-sufficiency through assessment, planning, linkage, advocacy, coordination, and monitoring activities. Our outcome goal focuses on successful coordination which results in families developing community relationships, and the building of tools and strategies towards improved self-efficiency.
